Hi David -

I'm not responding to the blog because I haven't read this one yet.....but I wasn't sure the email I have for you is current.

It is Thanksgiving Eve around 11:00 p.m. here. I'm sure your are sound asleep in Chicago at this time. I found myself thinking of you and this being probably the first time to be away from your family at Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is time for counting your blessings, and I wanted you to know I think you are a real blessing to this family and that you are in my thoughts often. Grandpa and I make it a point to check out the weather in Chicago (definitely colder and wetter than California!!)

We had a really enjoyable Thanksgiving at Steve & Laurie's with a fabulous dinner and a much smaller crowd than usual.

I frequently checkout your blogs, and I have to tell you (and David Gleese) that I loved the one about the ballet. I thought you guys captured the spirit of the dance!!

You are in my thoughts. God Bless You.

I love you, Grandma
